Whanau Net

Whanau Net provides high-speed wireless connectivity for patients and their families at the Mary Potter Hospice in Wellington. Alan Gordon is a member of the Mary Potter Hospice staff.

Net Day

NetDay was a program that coordinate community volunteers to wire and connect schools to the Internet.  It ran at a time before the New Zealand Government saw value in ICT in education.  NetDay proved to both officials and politicians that ICT was essential to the education of our children.

Living Heritage

Living Heritage is a bilingual web space the hosts student research into items of local heritage interest.  Jeremy Edwards is the Principal of Northland School in Wellington, one of the program's participants.

Toni Kahu
Computers in Homes

The Computers in Homes program works through schools to provide computing and Internet access into children's homes.  It focuses on provided training and support to the parents who, in turn, can support their children.  Toni Kahu was one of the first participants in this program in 1999.
